What are E-Juices and E-Liquids

E-juices and E-liquids put electronic cigarettes on a whole new level. The variety of flavors is enough to convince a chain smoker that there is more to just puffing smoke from a regular tobacco stick and living with the annoying smell of a human ashtray.

E-Juice is the combination of E-Liquids. E-Liquids are pharmacy and food grade ingredients composed of mainly four compounds: Propylene glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycerin (VG), Nicotine and Flavors.

PG is one of the two ingredients of E-Juices which is the primary diluting agent of flavors and nicotine. PG is used in a lot of pharmaceutical formulations such as oral, injectable and topical formulations. Notably, diazepam, which is insoluble in water, uses propylene glycol as its solvent in its clinical, injectable form.

VG is a clear, colorless, and odorless liquid with an incredibly sweet taste having the consistency of thick syrup. It is used as an agent in cosmetics, toothpaste, shampoos, soaps, herbal remedies, pharmaceuticals, and other household items.

Both USP grade PG and VG are non-toxic to human health if consumed sparingly. Their properties to produce clouds of water vapor during atomization make them the best and safest ingredients to use for creating and cutting E-Juices.

Nicotine and flavors are also added to make E-Juices and are normally diluted in PG. Nicotine is not what makes smoking bad for your health, rather it is what makes a person want to smoke even more. Nicotine is non-toxic if consumed without abuse but is very addictive.

E-Juices come in different levels of nicotine strengths. You may choose to wean yourself from nicotine addiction by slowly lowering your nicotine level. All this while can be done at his own pace without the stress of quitting cold turkey style all together.
